Jason Duncan

Lead Pastor

As the Lead Pastor, Jason is the primary speaker for our Sunday gatherings.  He keeps GCF focused on our mission and vision.  Jason also works with the church staff, the Elder Council and several teams, including the Host Team, the Prayer Team, the Loving Locally Team and the Men’s and Women’s ministry teams.

Jason came to Kentucky from West Virginia more than 25 years ago to attend Asbury Seminary.  He has been on staff at GCF for 20+ years.  Jason is married to Kyra and they have three kids, two kid-in-laws and a grandson.

When Jason is not serving GCF, you will likely find him cooking or hiking, reading a novel, a biography, or a history of something that he finds more fascinating than he probably should.  He occasionally enjoys good pipe tobacco and Kentucky bourbon, along with anything from a jazz trio to an Australian indie-folk band.
