Assistant Pastor
Jake serves as Assistant Pastor at GCF, splitting his time between youth ministry and broader pastoral support. He works closely with the Lead Pastor and church staff, helping shepherd the next generation while contributing to the overall life and mission of GCF.
Jake grew up in San Diego, California, and met his wife, Karina, in high school. They both moved to Kentucky so he could pursue his M.A. in Theological Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. They have one baby girl named Elora who is the absolute delight of their hearts.
When Jake isn’t at GCF, you’ll probably find him reading Sci-Fi or Theology on the porch at Drinkling’s Coffee, hunting down the best authentic Mexican food in the Bluegrass, sharing a great Kentucky bourbon, or chasing the perfect shot with his camera. His soundtrack for all of the above includes but is not limited to, Alternative Rock, Christian Hip-hop, Instrumental Lofi, or Classic Jazz.
