At GCF, we do most of our ministry in teams. Here are some of our teams and a brief description of each. Some of these teams require participation in an-going discipleship process – like Community Groups, a meeting(s) with a staff person and/or a “try-out” and/or a Criminal Background check.
Community Group Leaders –
Our CG Leaders lead small groups that meet once each week. In addition to leading small group meetings, they provide care and connection for the members of their groups.
Deacon Team –
The Deacons are a group of folks with various expertise who help with the care of our facilities. Deacons are nominated by the congregation and appointed to five year terms by the Elder Council.
Host Team –
Our hosts help make folks welcome and find what they need at in-person worship gatherings on Saturday evenings, or at our on-line gathering on Sundays.
Loving Locally Team –
This group of service-oriented folks keep GCFVineyard focused on serving and loving our community. They lead food drives for the local homeless shelter and the Community Service Center, prayer walks and volunteer opportunities with other local service agencies.
Media Team –
These tech-inclined folks work on sound, on-line media, visual tech and camera operation.
NextGen Kidz Team –
The Kidz Team teaches and guides our children ages infant through 5th grade at our gatherings on Saturday nights.
NextGen Youth Team –
The Youth team works with our teens at one of their two meetings each week. They help with games, small groups, and one-on-one guidance.
Prayer Ministry Team –
Our prayer teams serve our worship community on the weekends. They are available in pairs in the last part of our worship gathering to do prayer ministry with those who have needs.
Reaching Globally Team –
This team of folks have a passion for cross-cultural ministry work – whether it be in an inner city or rural area here in the States or somewhere else around the world. They stay connected with our cross cultural workers and make sure we are providing them with all of the support they need.
Worship Design Team –
This group of creatives decorate our worship space for various seasons of the year and other worship events.
Worship Team –
Our musicians and singers lead us in worshiping in song at our weekend gatherings.
