Our mission with the teens is to create transformative encounters with God through Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We want to see our teens trained to be bold, generous, and compassionate so that they become passionate followers of Jesus Christ who positively impact our region and world as they continue to grow and mature into the people God has created them to be.
If you are interested in having your Middle School or High School student visit one of our NextGen gatherings, here are a couple of things you may want to know.
First, our Middle School and High School Youth (6th – 12th grade) meet on Thursday Nights from 6 – 8:00pm. We ask that when you bring your youth that you drop them off at the stairs that lead to the basement, unless noted otherwise. This drop-off spot will be marked by a large GCF Youth flag. When youth group is over, you may pick your youth up at that same spot. When your youth arrives, they will be greeted by some of our leaders and expected to sign in. Our typical format for ministry includes games, activities, worship, lessons, small group discussions, and ministry times. We also on occasion have other events away from the church. When these events happen, regular participants will be notified.
